They're both free and I'm still shopping around. I was just wondering which BB services are better. I'm thinking of using one of these programs for our church so security and privacy is very important to us. Thanx for any help.

Although I think phpBB has more mods out there but IB is more robust and seems very secure.
 
I would think Invision is a bit more secure because AFAIK it's not really an open source product(or meant to be).

phpBB has no telling how many people playing around with the code for so many mods that someone is always finding code slip ups and vulnerabilities.

I like phpBB better though because of all that flexibility.... but i've yet to install Invision so I couldn't quite give an unbiased opinion.
