Invision board

What forum software does everyone use or recomend? I am just getting a forum going "see sig" and am using the free version of invision board. I like it but cant swing the $200 + for it. What forum software do you recommend? Is there anything free that works good?

on one of my sites I use phpBB. Its not the greatest forum software I have ever used but it is free.

My favorite forum software is vBulletin (not free) but part of that might just be because I?m most familiar with it.

With PHPBB can I customize the logos and links?
ALso can I migrats over what I already have somehow?
