Inventory Checkout software

Hello,

I am looking for something that I can use to list around 200 machines, and have individuals "Check Out" the system by selecting its information and such. I suppose it would need to be web based.

Does anyone know of anything like that?

There's a ton of applications out there that do that (quick books, peachtree, business works) and have web exports. Or it isn't that hard to write your own. Do you have any programming skills?

Skills.....uh....I wouldn't exactly call them that.

I am a hardware geek by trade. So, yes, I can do some cool scripting, but nothing hardcore.

As for Quicken, etc... I think more of what I need is a form that can be filled out on the web, and have the "check out" information sent to either a DB or to me directly. Will Quicken do that?
