trivia on the radio this morning...

The original Ramen noodles were sold under different names depending on which side of the mississippi you lived on...

What were the 2 names?

I prefer Maruchan over Nissin. Although I stopped eating Ramen a long time ago when I started to become tired of eating the same thing over and over. Now that condition's so bad, during dinners I get tired of eating the same thing and I'll make something else to eat in lieu .

Maruchan Chicken Flavor ftw!

The original one he invented wasn't bad. It's all the newer ones that suck.

Plus, he probably didn't eat too many of them. Maybe just all the experimental ones.

I think they should ban people from saying "ramen".

Noodles. Anything other than that and you're going to prison.

In July 2005, Nissin introduced a vacuum packed instant noodle specially designed for Japanese astronaut Soichi Noguchi to eat during a mission aboard the U.S. space shuttle Discovery.

Showcasing his Space Ram noodles, Ando said, "I'm happy I've realized my dream that noodles can go into space."

What a dream.
