invalid serial number and asset management tag

when I attempt to boot a friends ast advantage adventure 8075p I get the following "11.13 The serial number and asset management tag are no longer valid" I tried turning back the clock to no avail. I have looked other places on the web but as of yet no solution has been found. (its got the newest BIOS) thanks ever so much I really appreciate it!
