I want to archive all my photos to a double layer DVD, but I'm afraid I might have some with some invalid filenames.

What's the best way to check to see if I have invalid filenames that can't be burned to DVD?
 
NERO always pops up a message when I try to burn a disc with file names that are too long or aren't allowed. Should work for CD or DVD.
