Invalid Directory

Chkdsk found an NTFS error and moved the files from a directory to a new "found" directory. The original one is "not accessable" and its name is "invalid". The name can be changed but it cannot be deleted. Same result from command line OS interface. Re-running chkdsk /f /r does not help either. What up wid dat?
