I am a senior in high school who is currently working on an intrusion detection system.
I was wondering if any of you would be willing to describe what IDS systems you currently use
and what they are lacking.

The team that I am on have agreed to continue this project through college.
We will be competing in a competition at the end of this month. Our basic
IDS is ready to go, but we would like to know what everyone else needs before we continue.

We're running SNORT and it meets our needs, the only thing I would like to see is a better interface for it than acid
