Introductory Law Course?

I was wondering if anyone knew what such a thing would typically be called at a university. I was wanting to learn basic stuff like what are my personal rights, property rights, basically rights in every situation. Looked in the faculty of law courses and no such thing existed. =/

Try the local bookstore. There is a book in my state called Louisiana Legal Advisor which is really good and covers the basics of the sorts of things you described. It's written by a lawyer in the state. You might just find something like that for your state as well.

Possibly Constitutional Law.

You could also go to protests and listen to all the people scream about their rights (read the signs, too). 😉
