When I order a chicken sandwich, I always order it with cheese and bacon no matter which fast food place I'm at. They should have called it the The Ironwing.
Buttermilk-brined Southern-fried sous-vide chicken thighs. Sharp cheddar with melting salts (turns any cheese into liquidy goodness). Bacon jerky (slow-baked bacon at 200F for 4 hours). I added some pickles after, to give it some zing.
