And overclocking the cheapest to 3.6Ghz is much cheaper than buying a 3.6Ghz C2D (which aren't even released yet if at all).

It does if you run any Distributed Computing projects

I for one will be looking forwards to the 4400 ,but I'll be waiting til April before I upgrade from my XPM @2.5GHz

You can find value DDR2-800 for practically the price of DDR2-667 these days. And, at 3.6Ghz, you'd be running that DDR2-800 at stock speed. Not to mention, if you did get DDR2-667 to save a few pennies, it'd still be very likely to overclock to DDR2-800. Most Elpida/Promos will do so.

Sounds like this would be great for a real tight-ass like me I could get the 775DUAL-VSTA, which seems to max out for most people at 300 fsb, plus the E4400 along with my AGP card & current ram - for $190 this would be great!
