The 14900KS is practically defenseless against the 9950X's onslaught.

Another kick in the shins for Intel.

I can understand now why they would want 16P+32E on the halo Nova Lake part.

Adding more cores is easy. The crown should be awarded based on perf/w, instruction sets and how the uarch perfroms.

Of course in rendering more cores is good but at what cost? What is the power consumption etc

It was my understanding that 285K bested 9950X in CB24.

They seem to be using their own scoring system. CB R23 MT score of 50K is hard to reach for a 9950X but they are showing a score of 67K. Similarly, R24 score is above 4000. It's possible these are AI estimated scores?

How is that valid?

Possibly not valid but the fact that a site on the internet is showing these AMD favorable comparisons to perhaps thousands of users is another nightmare of sorts for Intel in their current state. Maybe the website owners have a beef with Intel. Maybe they too were burned by the 13th/14th gen fiasco.

I think their Cinebench scores are wayyy out of whack. Blender and V-ray look believable.
