We’re veteran game developers based in Los Angeles who previously worked on titles like Battlefield 4, Medal of Honor and Lost Planet 3 among many others. We just launched our first indie game called “Into the Stars” on Steam and GOG! It’s a space survival title that pulls heavily from games like FTL and The Oregon Trail along with TV shows like Battlestar Galactica and Star Trek. The game was built in Unreal Engine 4 and features a compelling score from Mass Effect composer Jack Wall.

Anyone try this one yet?

I'm intrigued... but don't know what it IS yet. So far I'm guessing it'll be similar to Homeworld.

I kickstarted it, played a very early Steam version and it was a tad odd, difficult to describe but certainly looking quite good.

From what I've read on the regular Kickstarter update emails there's been a lot of change since and my original opinions would be null and void.

Sounds like the game is fairly short and meant to be completed in a few sittings. They are referring to it as an "ironman" game.
