hi guys,
recently I bought my friend's old optical intillimouse (the cheapest one). He sold it to me pretty cheaply and it was a great deal. However, it has a problem where it 'freezes' ie I cannot move it all. This happens when I'm browsing the desktop only occasionally. It probably happens most in Max Payne, It freezes maybe once every 30 sec - 1.5 min. It also happens in CS, but I haven't noticed it happening in many other games. As I said before it happens very rarely on the desktop, most often when I'm using Windows Media Player.
I orignally had it hooked up to the USB port because I forgot to pick up my friend's USB to PS2 adapter. I managed to make the freezes happen a little less often by plugging a second mouse into my PS2 port while the initillimouse was in the USB. I eventually got the adapter and thought that would completely fix the problem.... it hasn't.
Any ideas?
