Seems like pretty serious stuff going on over there.
Interesting how "youths" over there are causing so much trouble.
 
I don't doubt it's hard for immigrants who look different to try to integrate into European society where multiculturalism isn't embraced fully by everyone.

But as we see in UK Veil incident, some Muslims hold on to their religion and culture instead of integrating, that shows some of them don't want to adapt Western value, instead asking West to bend over for them.

French are really sissy. Either they figure out how to integrate these immigrants, or they should just militarized their police wtih armored cars with machine guns and weapons to fight. Or they could let these gangs kill their some of their policeman, and scared most European countries off and stop their stupid liberal immigration policy. Jihad Europe anyone?
 
i know its unfair to make fun of the french for surrendering but come on, the cops are getting beat up my kids with bats and rocks? i'd like to see them try that in my town.

Do French police officers normally carry guns? The article and a quick googling didn't mention anything about it.

This is a war allright, but one that has nothing to do with religion. Those kids are making a stand on the face of a vile capitalist system which has banned them to the ghetto of the suburbs. It is difficult to see straight through the distorting lens of your self indulgence and realise that those people practically live in a huge suburbian prison complex. Sentenced to spend their life in undereducation, unemployment and misery, stripped from dignity and forbidden to hope for anything more than the social benefits, scraps of the prosperity of the rich. They have no illusions about the real task of the police in their neighborhood: That is to repel them from the affluent city centre, to confine them to their underdeveloped quarters.

This war is fostered not by religious fanatism but from social inequality:

France is perhaps the most socialist country in the EU with its so-called 'welfare state'
system. It's socialist policies is the major cause of this unrest.



 
Degial: I am swedish and what is written on that page is BS. It is true that the number of reported rapes have increased. However, most believe that this is mainly been due to an increased willingness to report alleged rapes to the police.
Secondly, there have been a number of high-profile cases with serial rapists and and several of them have been caught. As far as I remember none of them were muslim.

To blame this on muslims is just typical righ-wing extremist propaganda. Moreover, a rather large portion of the refugees that have come to Sweden of the past 20 years are NOT muslims (a lot of them from e.g. Croatia).

It is true that there are problems in Sweden that are related to e.g. segregation etc. but compared to the situation in many other countries the social problems in sweden are rather small.
 
Assimilation into Western culture doesn't work for all ethnic/religious group as we now see from some of these Middle East countries immigrants.

They should call a spade a spade, and admit that Islam is a cancer that is infesting our planet.
 
Islam is no less fascist than Nazism. It too calls for the destruction of allegedly lesser beings, and does everything to revoke freedom from the individual. I don't see why it should be permitted on Western ground. It gets you people like that Australian Imam who justified rapes of indecent women.

The trouble is it will first corrupt the fine balance we have in our democratic way of living. We'll see more and more right wing, facist goverments everywhere, and especially in Europe.
