Interweb gurus, need help finding this story

I don't remember where I read this story, possibly digg or fark. It was sometime last year. From what I remember it was a story about two guys who over 20+ years would regift this object (don't remember, sorry) to each other in more and more elaborate ways. I think one of the years a guy welded it into safe. They finally stopped because this past year it was regifted into a block of concrete. I know that's fairly vague and I can't remember much else about the article. If anyone knows what I'm talking about, could you hook me up with the article? Much thanks to anyone that can help me out. 🙂
