the BEST response i read
Question:What is your greatest weakness?
Answer:Kryptonite.

have a dreaded interview in two days. the position is good but i'm just so nervous about the interview. I have a tendency to screw these up lol. any good advice from ATOTers? anyone want to share their interview experiences?

IMO, the only advice worth taking: Be yourself. If you look for specific advice on how to answer certain questions, how to carry yourself, etc. then of course you're going to be nervous. Not only that, but it will be very obvious to the interviewers that you are coached, and this never bodes well.

Be yourself and answer honestly. You're there to interview them just as much as they are you.

In addition to that, I would say research, research, research. Know the company you're interviewing with, current projects, publicized upcoming projects, news of note, etc...

I've always done really well with interviews basically by just playing it cool. Usually when you go they aren't going to say to your face "your not what we want" so its just you and the interviewer chatting it up.

Be honest, look them in the eye and if its a guy have some balls and shake his hand like you appreciate him taking time out for you. Same with a lady but be a tad more gentle but still firm.. .. to me that shows respect.

Take a couple deep breaths before you go in, make sure you dont have to piss and show them your ambition and that this isn't a "job" this is the place you want to grow and succeed with for years to come (even if you dont).

If you got an interview its probably due to your resume or something reflecting your skills so they already have an idea of what you can do, its your job to solidify that with being who you really are.

if you can relax man its such a piece of cake and when you walk away knowing either A.) they offered you the job on the spot or B.) you showed them 100% what you are about it will make you feel good and job or not you were successfull.

If you feel like you must do something to get prepared, go over some of your old projects. You are going to get asked about your experience, so have some things fresh in your mind. Especially leadership roles and examples of times when problems arose that you were able to solve.
