Wow, I'm impressed that these questions seem do-able by any CS grad who actually put a good amount of effort into his/her education. I was expecting questions that I would look at and go ".....WTF??"

Yeah, about half of these i learned taking the AP CS as a junior in high school. All the data structure and algorithm ones aren't that hard. The networking stuff is more difficult for me since I haven't taken any of those courses. I'd suspect that in order to get the next nterview you would have to pretty much be able to rattle these off the top of your head.

I would love to work at Google. It just seems like a place with intelligent/creative people, all working in relaxed environment, with amazing benifits, and having fun at the same time.

You think they would employ some one with a

BS in Molecular Biology and Biochemistry
MS in Biomedical Sciences
and a MD

Wow!

I just had my first phone technical interview with google for a Software Engineering position in the Brazil office.

I got one of them completely and got 2/3 of the other two. Do you guys think I have a chance?

Update people!

I've passed the first phone technical interview and will be atending an interview on site here in Brazil!

Acording to the recruiter there should be two on-site interviews if I am to be hired. Wish me luck folks!

WTF did you think they would ask you?! How build an efficient 3 phased space rocket?
They ask to see if you have basic understanding of algorithms, and some creativity.
The questions are indeed not too difficult, however they are enough to get a good idea on who'll be able to handle the stuff you throw at her/him at work.
