Ive got a big interview coming up this Monday. If I get this job the wife wont need to work anymore which would be great since she is due later this year. First interview in over 7 years so I am kind of nervous.

If it's been seven years, you might want to try a dry run beforehand. My first interviews after going a long time without one have always been awful. After that they get much, much better though.

Maybe the wife would be willing to do a mock interview? Of course you're going to be more comfortable with her than a stranger, but it's still better than nothing. Especially if you (and she) can treat it seriously.

Good luck. I'd go with a mock interview as you have been out of the loop for 7yrs.

Stay calm and you have to sell WHY YOU WANT THE JOB and be very keen.

I hadn't interviewed for a job in 13 years and it really wasn't hard if you know the information. Learn about the company, have questions to ask them, don't ramble on. Had no issues with job hunting after so many years.

As others suggested you should definitely do a mock interview or two. You might be tempted to think that looking at sample interview questions online and thinking through your answers is enough, but it's not the same.
