Fun, Games, and an Interview With Nintendo
By Motley Fool Staff September 4, 2007

We recently had the opportunity to go one-on-one with George Harrison, senior vice president of marketing and communications for Nintendo (OTC BB:NTDOY.PK), which has been on the Stock Advisor scorecard since February. Here's what he had to say about the gaming industry and what separates Nintendo from the competition. Everybody now: Wii!

If by Hybrid they mean ghey looking and boring to drive, and by SUV they mean costs too much and uses too much gas *gas= cost of games* then :thumbsup:

That comparison is HORRIBLE. It doesn't even make sense. My brain is now hurting trying to make any sense out of it.

Leaders in the gaming industry certainly say funny things, though.

The comparison wasn't about the cars. If you read it in context, you'll see he meant that two of the companies are thinking alike, they want the full suite of entertainment possibilities, while the Nintendo is trying to do it without all the frills. A better example would be two SUV's an a subcompact.

Hm. I don't connect cars with entertainment. I don't see SUVs as having more frills either.

Best analogy would be PS3 and Xbox are NASCAR muscle cars with a lot of horse power, and the Wii's a GT car that has a bit less raw power but excellent handling.

360 = lion with a congemital heart defect that could kill it at any time

PS3 = cheetah wearing a blindfold. If it ever gets the blindfold off, it wins!

Wii = cuddly koala bear, high on eucalyptus bark.

cheetah would never beat a lion. But the PS3 would beat a 360. I think you should swap the blindfold/heart disease.

Heart disease is implying the Xbox 360's issues with RROD.

Clearly,

PS2/Xbox = graph paper

PS3/X360 = excel spreadsheet

Wii = purple construction paper
