WTH....!!! I just finished the article. The guy is scum. He raped that girl for being a virgin and somehow he gets away with it. :|

Somebody should shoot him.
Because as we all know, accusation is as all we need to form up the lynch mob. Don't bother us with things like facts and evidence. Let's just get our torches and pitchforks, put the mob together and go have us a good old fashioned lynchin'.

Congratulations, you're a sheep! How does feel to be easily maninuplated by emotional appeal by the mass media?

You beat me to it ;)

I assume you believe anything you read DaShen?

If half of what she said was true, why is he not in prison? Especially the arm bit...
I'm all for evidence, but you don't get accusations from numerous sources without some of it being true. And he's not in prison because of lack of evidence.

because there was no one recording it or he is hiding it somewhere. Plus you have to look at how deranged and crazy he is from the other 3 accusations.

After reading this...

Francis returns from his dance-floor foray. He's hyper, like a kid on sugar, talking fast. He says he's discovered the ultimate quarry: a girl who says she will be 17 for just a few more hours and who wants to get wild for the cameras the minute she's legal. "Girls Gone Wild" crew members can receive a bonus of $1,000 if they discover such a treasure, he shouts happily.

I follow Francis and his bodyguard through the crowd to find Kaitlyn Bultema. She's dancing on a podium and leaps off at the sight of Francis. She's wearing a skirt-and-shirt ensemble that exposes her stomach, most of her breasts and much of her bottom. I ask her why she wants to appear on "Girls Gone Wild" and she looks me in the eye and says, "I want everybody to see me because I'm hot."

It's then that it hits me: This is so much bigger than Francis. In a culture where cheap and portable video technology lets everyone play at stardom, and where America's voyeuristic appetite for reality television seems insatiable, teenagers, like the ones in this club, see cameras as validation. "Most guys want to have sex with me and maybe I could meet one new guy, but if I get filmed everyone could see me," Bultema says. "If you do this, you might get noticed by somebody?to be an actress or a model."

I ask her why she wants to get noticed. "You want people to say, 'Hey, I saw you.' Everybody wants to be famous in some way. Getting famous will get me anything I want. If I walk into somebody's house and said, 'Give me this,' I could have it."

I have no sympathy for the women involved. The guy is still a shmuck though, no doubt.

I was under the impression that the seized videos pretty much proved he was engaged in illegal activities. However, the videos were ruled inadmissable because they were seized illegally.

True. I was specifically referring to his alledged rape of the 18yo girl.

For those of you wishing for his come-uppance, read the article about his 2003 home invasion where he was held at gunpoint and put on video tape, then extorted. Or at least attempted to be extorted.

haha - "SeDuCtIoNz A b1tCh" - how ironic

After seeing those, I have no doubt in my mind that these girls are nothing buy sluts who were not raped, but rather were just looking to reach into the guy's wallet and take what they could because they were are too stupid to realize that all he wanted was some sex.

Seriously, what type of girl goes flashing her stuff for everyone to see. The types of girls in those videos have one thing in common.

Joe Francis appears to be a completely soulless turd. It annoys me that such a dirtbag could accumulate such a startling level of wealth.

I worked at the law firm that represented him for his infractions in PC. They are very good attorneys.

He's living every frat boys dream, he's making money off human sexuality, and he's staying out of jail for the most part.

Sounds good to me.

Just take a look at popular culture and tell me we don't breed this kind of behavior in our young people.

If girls kept their clothes on and respected themselves, this guy would never even been in business...

All of this whining from the male crowd here about this guy being scum...is such a joke...

Society is filled with scum period...Welcome to humanity...

I think you're forgetting the fact that if the story is true, that girl is the victim. Now you're blaming her for getting raped?

She was a victim? She WILLINGLY got drunk. She WILLINGLY went onto his bus. She WILLINGLY took all of her own clothes off (by herself). She WILLINGLY masturbated in front of them. Then she WILLINGLY laid there while he opened his pants and got on top of her.

As the reporter mentioned, the girl was so enamored with, "oh, famous and RICH guy picked me! He picked me out of all these girls! *swoon*" that she went along with everything he suggested WILLINGLY. It was likely not until the next day that she stopped and realized what a dumbass she was and suddenly decided to call it rape.

I have no argument against labeling this guy scum. He is. However, don't fool yourselves into thinking the women that flock to him are any better. They're all happily throwing their clothes off for thirty seconds (or less, and rarely more) of attention from a rich and famous guy.

I agree

um... she was 18. that means she's an adult in this country.......and explain how he got the 18 yo drunk? She was in a alcohol serving club when he got there and no doubt based on her myspace profile this is a very common occurance for her........he didn't take advantage of anything other then a money grubber/attention whore....

i'm surprised and disappointed by the number of people in this thread that claim he's "living the dream" and how it "sounds good to them".

it really baffles me how this guy could ever be a role model to anyone. aside from his scummy acts, the article actually painted a picture of a really sad guy who's on stuck on this spring break rolecoaster ride-- the same pointless party over and over, having to smile and pretend like it's great. after a while it just gets old and sad.

I think this guy is an absolute piece of sh!t given the complaints made against him, threats he's made to others and little rich boy attitude, but on the other hand I don't feel bad for women who blame everything and anything on their inebriated state. I have no compassion for them or anyone else who uses that as an excuse.

That entirely sums up my opinion, too.

Better Cinematography, and watching Sanchez leave some chick at the side of the road is hilarious.

Except that Girls Gone Wild is reality-porn and BangBus is all scripted;)
Dirty Sanchez FTW!

I don't know whom I hate more: Joe Francis or girls who masturbate with dildos (on camera) for a pair of underwear and a free t-shirt.

As for the rape in question, I'm assuming the dude must have been on drugs - or atleast some serious alcohol. Like a drunk dude knows when a girl says stop, he must stop:confused: They are both at fault. Yes, I will get blasted for suggesting a victim invited trouble onto herself...but what the hell do these idiots think they are in for when lying naked spread-eagle before a certified scum-of-the-earth sleazeball?:|:frown::confused:

He may be scum, but they have yet to prove that he's actually raped anybody. I highly doubt this girl was a virgin before him, and from her MySpace page it's pretty obvious that virgin or not she's far from innocent. If he raped her, then he needs to go to jail. If he didn't, then I don't give two craps how hurt she feels, it's her own fault.

Yes.

18.

The drinking age is 21.

If he's such a smart businessman then he's smart enough to know he's taking advantage of someone who's too young, too drunk, or too stupid to think for herself.

Just because you can take advantage of someone doesn't mean you should.
