Interview With A Vampire

Don't be afraid... I'm going to give you the choice I never had.

I finally saw this movie... pretty darn good. Any thoughts? Anyone else like it?

Cruise and Pitt were both good in that movie. I would imagine the book would be better but I still really liked the movie.

I like movies about vampires though 🙂

You are admitting that the TV is not as good as the human imagination?

There will NEVER be a TV version that is better then the imagination so please people stop with this foolish remark 😉

Heya Zakath15!

You've got good taste... I thought it was a good movie too... if you haven't read the book, be sure to soon. 🙂

Though I'd say Rice was a good author -- personal opinion of course, but she lost me around the time of Queen of the Damned and the second New Orleans ectoplasm monster book.

Another good, intelligent vampire film is Near Dark by Kathryn Bigelow (Point Break, Strange Days). I just watched it again recently now that it's finally on DVD.

And Dracula 2000 was fairly stupid, but still entertaining.

That is of course assuming that one has a good imagination and enjoys reading....If not then the video versions would of course be better since no imagination or reading is involved...🙂

I have enough books to read at the moment, but I do think it's going on my list.
