Interview with a major Pharma Clinical Research company

Svnla

Lifer
I just had a phone interview with a guy from a major Phama Clinical Research company yesterday. He was impressed with my business <MBA> and IT background <BS in MIS>.

He did email some questions and I need to know the BEST answers from someone with knowlege or inside information. TIA.

Questions:

In order for us to get a better understanding
>> of your qualifications I would ask you to answer
>> the following questions. Please also feel free to
>> elaborate in your own words any relevant experience
>> to the position.
>>
>> Do you have any experience in the pharmaceutical
>> industry?
>>
>> If not, why have you chosen to apply to this
>> position?
>>
>> Do you have any knowledge of the clinical trial
>> process, and it's purpose?
>>
>> Do you have any experience in clinical trials?
>>
>> Do you have any knowledge of medical terminology?
>> Please explain.
>>
>> Do you have any knowledge of FDA regulations? TPD
>> regulations?
>>
>> Do you have any knowledge of ICH GCP? GLP? GMP?
>>
>> What formal training have you received in the
>> specified position?
>>
>> If you have answered 'no' to two or more of the
>> questions above, would you be willing to go through
>> training?
>>
>> Are you a fast learner and can you manage well in a

I'd recommend that you take a stab at answering those yourself, and then present your polished answers here for comments and criticism. Even if an industry insider provides you with the best answers possible, a verbal interview will flesh out any inconsistencies between your answers and your actual skillset and experience. And that would prove fatal during the interview process.
