Ready to go back to San Diego?

Ideal weather...home of MRCD San Diego...only a few miles from Camp Pendelton...ideal weather...great beaches...good Mexican food...did I mention, ideal weather?

I'd LOVE to live in San Diego, but it's just too dammed expensive. (almost as bad as San Francisco) But...if I ever hit the Lotto...

Good luck dude.

Just remember to have an answer if they ask you "what do you do for fun". That had me stumped because I wasn't expecting it at all.

really? that seems like such an easy question to me. I'd just mention some of my hobbies - play soccer, workout, photography, etc. What usually stumps me are questions like 'what is your biggest weakness' type questions.

BTW, good luck, OP

He's going for an accountant position. Accountants don't know how to have fun.

Everyone knows this. :p

Bah, you guys are just falling for that stereotype. I ride a motorcycle, I used to surf, I know how to have fun!

I don't think I'll mention the motorcycle during the interview though. ;)

The funny part is that one of my last jobs was working in an accounting office full of middle 30-40 something females and they were some of the biggest party & sex hounds I've ever been around. Going out to the bars with them was a hoot.

Update: Interview went well. I came off as confident and personable plus my experience fits this role well. Should know in the next day or so about the next step.

I got an interview, was accepted for the position so I called up a few other places I had interviews scheduled with to cancel them, then the next day I get a call back telling me they ended up cutting the position.

Mother fuckers.

Hopefully you get luckier than I did.

Thats why they say NEVER cancel interviews or stop looking until your first paycheck clears the bank :)

Haha, yea I usually don't. This was for a teaching position, though, so the likelihood of something like this happening was almost non-existent because schools know how many teachers/budget they can spend on teachers within the first couple weeks of June, if not sooner.
