MSNBC this morning, this comment just made me upset and seemed like they told him to say this because I don't know anyone in college who would say this.
Basically the interviewer said "so he played violent video games?"

This is not word for word but still...
"Yes he would play loud video games. Violent Video games. I know one game was counter-strike. It was violent games he would play loud."

He must have made mention of "violent" and "played it loud" at least 5-10 times.

So now here comes a law suit- I can see it now "Violent video games influence 27 year olds"

When will people learn, it takes more than video games to make someone insane to the point of killing?

It doesn't matter. It's real easy to show that if 1,000,000 people play a certain game and one of them goes on a shooting rampage, that the percentage number is slow low it doesn't prove anything at all.

This is America we're talking about here. Keep that in mind, OK?

yeah. if that one person is featured on tv i guarantee my mom will be emailing me about violent video games driving kids on a rampage. then i will remind her that i played and still play violent video games and have yet to shoot anyone, and she'll drop it til the next incident gets on tv.

Some people are just mentally born this way, but I would say most of the blame should go to the parents.......... End of story!

It's ironic that the media would point their finger at violent video games while others think these spree killings are encouraged by the media attention that they receive.

Jack Thompson was already interviewed and he again attributed it to violent video games even before that interview with the kid who knew the niu shooter... what irks me is that in that recent interview Jack Thompson said that the VT guy played violent games too, but from what i recall everyone who knew the vt shooter said that he DOESN'T play those games!!
