mail it tomorrow....IN AN ENVELOPE!

I am going to send an email, everyone says its just as good now a days. Do I send it now or tomorrow?

it may be acceptable, but the mailed copy will stand out. Sure you can wear a suit to prom, but you COULD wear a tuxedo.

why? Is it bad to email? I was under the impression that it is pretty standard now a days to email thank you letters.

i email my thank you letters... and i do it within 24 hours

Snail mail, ASAP. Strike while the iron is hot and establish your (hopefully good) interview in their minds just that tiny bit more.

Impress them with your penmanship skills. And be sure to send a letter to everyone you came in contact with on that interview day. Just fork out the .37 cent stamps you cheapa$$.

Its not as good.

Send a hand written letter in the mail.

-edit- mini-rant. And people wonder why they don't get the job. Its because they don't do what is necessary. Thinking an E-mail is appropriate just shows how much they did to get the job. Which is essentially nothing.

Is everyone getting the job now a days too?

As good as an e-mail is in terms of time efficiency, an actual letter usually tends to be more personal. You'll make a better impression in any case with a real letter.
