When interviewing, what do you give as answers to these questions?:

1) Tell me about a time when you were in a group situation and one group member was not pulling in for the team work. What did you do, or how would you handle it?

2) What kind of a leader are you?

3) What do you do when you are not working?

4) What aspect of you would you like to improve, i.e. what is wrong with you?

These are all from recent MBA interviews.

Have a meeting with the member and discuss the situation. State what is expected and when.
2) What kind of a leader are you?
Well-spoken and very goal oriented.
3) What do you do when you are not working?
Outside of work, or during downtime at work?
4) What aspect of you would you like to improve, i.e. what is wrong with you?
Absolutely nothing. I am perfectly fine with who I am.
 
1. I confronted the group member privately in a non-threatening manner delegated that he/she was not pulling their weight.

2. Decisive, Supportive of other group members, Personal situation understanding, multitasking, efficient, Goal oriented, leader. Definite team player and Team Leader.

4. I work too hard! Some would say that I would sacrifice my first born inorder to obtain project objectives! [Turn your flaw, into a strength] In general you dont' want to list any flaws. Only strengths disguised as "flaws".

Be confident and cocky! They want to hire "the man", not some p*ssy.
 
1. Clock them on the noggin with a tire iron and kick 'em in the ribs.
2. Compassionate communicator (see #1).
3. Watch your wife in the shower.
4. I want to improve my rib kickin'.

Pretty standard answers.

3) None of your business...work is work...you don't pay me outside of work.
