Interview help! first one in a long time

Going in for interview tommorrow for a well paying help desk position. Help desk isnt really my field, i did a+ and then went into a second level support/novell server admin internship. From there I went on to work at my university but that was mostly hands on and solving software compatability problems network wide. Regardless, its been 2 and half years since I was in IT, i know hardware well from my a+ and from working on/building computers for friends and family etc.

The interview is through a staffing agency for Insight Communications, the local cable provider in louisville. I'm a bit nervous, any suggestions/tips? I spent two years at the university of Kentucky, undeclared and working towards CS and English degrees, then my emotional life blew up and I spent last year at a community college, taking this semester off to pay down some bills. Any ideas of what I can expect as far as questions go?

Thanks for the help

Be honest. Come prepared with some knowledge about the company and the position -- do your research.
Seem excited about the prospect of working there.
Don't badmouth your last/current employer or job.
Dress appropriately but don't overdress.
Bring an extra copy of your resume, references, and any other relevant documentation. Sometimes the interviewer loses it.

Oh, and good luck.

Also, be prepared to answer both closed-ended and open-ended (i.e. "Tell me about yourself.") questions. Don't be gabby and don't be overly terse. The interviewer, although HR, is still partly human and should be regarded as such. Appeal to that quality and you'll have better chances. (meaning, pretend you're having idle chatter, not like you're in the Spanish Inquisition)

Oh, and if you happen to be extremely nervous, antisocial, or socially retarded, take your paxil or valium or whatever it is you do before the interview.

I interviewed this one girl -- good qualifications, seemed nice, but damn me if it wasn't hard getting any type of answer out of her. "How did you like your last job?" "It was good." "Okaaaaay....why would you like to work here?" "Ummmm because I'm going back to school and I need a job in the area." "Great answer, ditz."

I'll just tell you what they asked me, and I wasn't prepared for them at all.

Just your standard questions:
What do you think your strong points are?
What are your weak points?
Where do you see your self in <insert number here> years?
What traits do you think an effective manager should have? <---THIS ONE REALLY GOT ME, I HAD NEVER THOUGHT ABOUT IT BEFORE

etc, etc.
