In other words you have no idea what you're talking about. I ask a simple question about how people being in the right lane blocks me from getting into the right lane and you completely shut down and don't provide an answer.
There's no way driving schools in the US teach this kind of bullshit. So much of it is nonsense. Can only pass in the left lane? So if there's a guy doing 10mph in the left lane, you should stay in the left lane behind him and the people in the right lane should not pass him? So now you could potentially slow down 6 lanes of traffic to 10mph just because 1 guy is going that speed? What if Engineer does his classic "stop in the middle of the road" trick in the left lane? All lanes of traffic stop?
This whole "can't get into the right lane" thing is stupid too. You signal, you go. If there's somebody already there, you slow down slightly and cut off the person behind the guy next to you. He should have seen your signal by this time, so he's already prepared for the cut off. People either get out of the way or they get slammed.
I remember talking to a few Americans who were visiting Canada. They said the drivers were "worse" but there was a general lack of road rage. Cutting people off and passing on the right is expected, so nobody gets angry. You do what it takes to get where you want to go. It's a uniquely American thing to expect everyone else to cooperate with you then get angry when it doesn't work like that (hint: it NEVER works like that, see: walmart)
