Hey guys...

I asked about calendar sharing last time, as none of it was listed in outlook...and WHAM...like 10 seconds later...the answer - group calendar FREE too! :) Thanks guys!

Anyhow, we'd like to chat interoffice now as it's unobtrusive when people are in, and whenw e're on the phone! So I found lanmessenger, lanchat, and a few others...none of which are freeware.

So, do you know of any FREEWARE proggies for lanchat (chatting in the office that doesn't require an internet connection?)

thanks!

It didn't work when I typed it in my run box or in console...

I'm on XP and so is everyone else on the network :0

First it's 'net send' not netsend.

If you want a fullblown Instant Message system look at Jabber, it's Open Source.

We are using Jabber here (LV) for in office messaging.
SIM is the client - supports most all IM systems.
Servers Running nx - but am looking at playing with the Windows version

net send won't work if others turn it off to avoid ads.

Since this is for work I assumed everyone was behind some sort of firewall which makes those types of ads useless as SMB ports should always be blocked from the outside.
