Internship Offer

I'm currently waiting on an internship offer from a large software company. (Revenues > 1 billion) I flew out to mountain view for a second round interview on March 20th. During the course of one of my interviews (3 during the day) I was told I'd hear back in 2 weeks. It's been two weeks. (This past Friday) I sent an email to the lady who set everything up asking her if there was any additional information she could provide as to when I could expect to hear back. This was at 5 PM EST on Friday, they are PST. I haven't received an email back yet. I've never had a response from anyone I've emailed at the company (even prior to the second interview). Has anyone had any experience with this before? I have her phone number so I suppose I'll wait until wednesday, does that seem like a reasonable amount of time if she doesn't get back to me before then?

This is weird because I've had very quick responses from every where else I've interviewed including the software giant MS.

The reason I'm in somewhat of a hurry is because I'd like to be able to get back to other companies about whether or not I accept. I have a little less than a month left of school and I would like to get this sorted out before I'm out for the summer.

I'd e-mail again, and call her/leave a message if you have the number (it might be in her e-mail sig). If she doesn't respond within a week after, I'd drop them and go with someone else.

Sometimes you just get shoved to the bottom of the to-do list.

Well, you did mention their location.

Anyways, call the recruiter and tell her you have other offers. I did this both during my internship and job search. If they want you, they'll get their ass in gear quicker than you could imagine.

Nope, for some reason I think I would have received a pretty quick response if that were the case.

There are other software companies in Mountain View that make more than 1 billion. Intuit certainly would not have been my first guess.

All the clues were in your first sentence. Internship+software co+$1 billion rev+Mountain View+ATOT member = Intuit
replace software co with internet co and $10 billion rev, then it's Google.
