I have a friend who has a "Free" internet provider that limits them to 40 hrs/month before a fee kicks in.

Are there any programs that can keep a running total of the amount of time logged on each month? Anything make it automated enough so that it actually detects a successful dial up and hang up? Anything where I can set the first day of the cycle where it resets the counter to 0 on that date?

What do you guys suggest?
