Internet Usage and its effect on school

For English class (though, it's not really English related) has been assigned to do public service announcement type things for middle school kids. We all got in groups and chose two topics we wanted to do a video on. There were many topics including STD's, Tobacco, Alcohol, Other Drugs, Sex, and Internet. Each of these topics had sub-topics, which are what we chose from. Our group chose both Crystal Meth and how excessive Internet Usage could lead to a decline in homework and grades.

Now, anybody have any ideas for the video? I think I'm actually going to have fun with this. Especially since I've never really messed around with video editing. I was thinking of just video taping myself at my computer just browsing the internet. Time will just continue and I will be on the computer for hours with a stack of books next to my computer, not being touched. Then days could continue and its the end of the quarter or something and I have terrible grades on my report card. In order to get a good grade we kind of need to make the person see that excessive Internet usage could seriously hurt their grades or something. You guys know those tobacco things that show people really gross stuff to scare people from smoking? Think of this project as sort of the same idea.

Any ideas would be appreciated so I can write the script and everything, then video tape it. I also have the Crystal Meth one to do, but I'll concentrate on this one first. Mainly because I already have a general idea of what I'm going to do and because I know nothing about Crystal Meth. We do have to make videos for both of them though.

heh, see if you can find the short film "The Parlor"
Shows a whole bunch of internet chatting and flirting and such.
