Alright so does anyone have any experience watching TV over the internet? I know there was a lot of talk about it when the World Cup was on but I haven't seen any recently...I'm living out of the states for nearly a year and I am literally salivating for some TV I can understand. Sports, news, movies, shows, in that order....

I've heard of ChannelChooser and SopCast from a few people but ideally I'd like to find something that has a fuller lineup of channels I may find at home. Obviously I'm not expecting to find Animal Planet and The History Channel, but if I could maybe find some of the networks, or CNN, or especially ESPN, I would be in heaven.

Thanks for any tips from anyone who has experience with this!

The quality is not nearly as good as regular TV, and you'll have to download software that was written in Chinese.

BTW, ChannelChooser has ESPN.

There are alot of different sites that allow you to view streaming TV on your computer. You can search the internet for some also I have a list of some on my website.

Another good one I didn't see on Azoomees' list would be:

TVU Player It uses p2p I believe. All channels within a central interface, pretty slick IMO.

In my experience so far, TVU is a seemless integration of TV over the web and a step in the right direction.
