internet television: does it exist?

you wont be able to watch clear live feed tv with dsl. unless its super super good dsl you'll definetly need something a lot more powerful.

It existed for a limited time. A company in canada was broadcasting US network TV over the internet for a while. I cant remember the name of it, but it went away fast.

You can see a few worldwide startions here.

A couple of years back a website based in Ontario did broadcast over the air stations from the Toronto region, but that soon disappeared...

The best two that I know of are the Leadtek Winfast 2000XP (I own this one and it works like a champ, however I hate the software. ATi's has much better software, IMO) and ASUS has a card that is supposed to have higher quality than the Leadtek. And if you want try an ATi card. I wouldn't go w/ ATi unless you actually by an All-in-wonder Video card (7500, 8500, 9000, 9600, 9700 or 9800).
