Greetings everyone,

I am a PhD student and I wonder if you could give me a hand with my research by taking part in my survey.
It is brief and will not consume all of your time. Please feel free to help me, it is a personal and independent project
I am doing.

Here is the survey's address: https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/X2MYQBL

I appreciate your help,

Interesting, I get the gist being about flat out addiction but my profile would fit an internet addict because of my occupation in IT. I need to be online, I don't have a choice therefore I am happiest away from it usually although I am still a nerd at heart.

Couple annoying double negative questions that I had to read several times.

It's kind of confusing. But I guess it doesn't apply to somebody that works on a computer 50 hours a week, comes home, watches internet streaming video while working out, plays MMOs to relax, and does most of his shopping online.

My favorite part of the year is going camping without internet access.

I spend a lot of time on the internet, but that survey read like it was specifically about facebook addiction.

The last page is amusing. It says it's an anonymous survey, but then on the last page it says to put in your email address if you want your data removed?? How does it have your email address to identify your data, and if it could do that, how is it anonymous??

/confused

Hello future PhD!

I am a doctor.

I am the one they call Dr. Feelgood. I am the one that makes ya feel alright. I am the one they call Dr. Feelgood.

I'm gonna be your Frankenstein.

I've got one thing you'll understand. I'm not what you'd call a glamorous man. Got one thing that's easily understood. I'm the one they call Dr. Feelgood

I took it but some of the questions are too vague. Do I feel discomfort when I suddenly lose my internet connection? If I am doing something, I sure do. I work from home occasionally and when my internet goes out (rarely, but it does happen from time to time), I am very discomforted!

You should not consider the time spent online for work purposes, as it says: only leisure and non-work related internet activity should be considered ;-)
