my internet always slow in the summer where there is hot like 85 degree up. i mean 80 and up.

say i go to an address.... load fast fine then 2min later i go to same address..... took 2min to never-done-load. then go to the address again.... fast load fine. its like it seems random.

like someone covering the cap of hole that internet flows through.... cap off cap on at random time but constantly.

anyone experience this? is it normal? i never have this problem during other season.

via ethernet line. im about to ht sumit new thread but it might not load so ima copy/paste what i jus wrote in case.

To NiceCold,

Its a little vague to troubleshoot because we know almost nothing about your connection other than you say it comes via ethernet cable.

But still wires expand and contract with temperature, and its possible something is wrong with your Ethernet cable, most likely at the end connectors. You could try flexing the wire at the end connectors, but that might totally screw up your connection entirely. So it may be best to borrow a known good cable, and see if that helps. The other possibility is that the Ethernet cable runs too close to something that mainly only operates in hot weather. Like some one else's air conditioner motor or something similar.

Because tale out of school where I worked, every time I went into my work room and turned on the light, it effected the data flow of the whole plant. Turned out the culprit there was an Ethernet cable strung too close to a florescent light fixture. Moving the cable away from the light was all that it took to make the problem go away.

Just hope it gives you some troubleshooting ideas.

when you said light do you mean light bulb? the ethernet wire was too close to the light bulb?

and to edit on first post.... not just same address but different addresses too. go many address and seems slow load to never done loading.

Cable is a shared connection so there just might be that much more traffic going on with school out (legal or otherwise). I'm paranoid about how warm cable boxes, modems, and routers get so I run a small fan near them. Just a thought.

I note NiceCold asked, "when you said light do you mean light bulb? the ethernet wire was too close to the light bulb?"

In a word NO, it ran too close to the ballast in a florescent light fixture, and it was not heat, it was electronic noise that was by picked up by the Ethernet cable and totally garbled the data it was transmitting. Electric motors and other electronic devices can also make electronic noise, that could be the root of your problem.

Because Ethernet cables, unlike coax cables can pick up electronic noise if it runs very near by.
