just need a simple software

Have you try Wingate?

I used to use it in my 98 days.

98 has this function built in. I'm sure ME has it also.

WinMe has Internet Connection sharing too 🙂

I think you'll need to run the Home Network Wizzard to set it up, it's not in the same places it is in Win2k/XP, but it is there somewhere (it's been years since i last used WinMe...actually it was just after it came out and just before i discovered Win2k 😉)
