Internet Sharing Problems

I have a cable internet connection on one of my computers and would like to share that connection with another computer. I have Windows 98 SE on the main computer so it has the Internet Sharing software. The problem right now is that I can't get the two computers to see each other. I think I've read somewhere that you have to set the IP addresses on the networks but when I do that, my cable internet does not work so right now the IP address is on detect automatically. Can anyone help me? Thanks.
 
Jack, you seem to have gone from FAQs to simple links now. Getting a bit impersonal, aren't we? j/k 😉 (keep up the good work).
 
The man needs a vacation.😉 His poor little fingers are tired from typing HUGE FAQs and then having to point juniors to the thread because most fail to do a search first. 🙁 But his links are just as helpful 😀
 
I spent the last few days trying to understand the in and the out of the iPAQ PocketPC.

Got it after getting caught in the deep chasm of the Hot Deals Forums.
