Internet running fine.. then - hangs.. - then resumes.

And it's not quiet the same after (slower).. so i usually have to reconnect.
Any help is appreciated.
The modem is configured the same as I ever have before with all standard settings set up for best results as told by www.tweak3d.net

your information is way too vague, man...

internet never stops or restarts...

it's ur ISP, check with them...

broadband? DSL or Cable? not Satelite I guess?
if so, log on to your router and check your rate configuration...

too many possibilities...

Get a good ping utility and ping your ISP. See what kind of packet loss you get. I would bet you are dropping packets to the ISP gateway.
