I wanted to know how I can configure Internet Routing on my Windows 2000 server PC, Help!it is on a network wth inernet connection but I am yet to configure it as a main sever.
I run an Internet Cafe you see, and I would like to cut the cost of buying individual IP addresses.

You can always get some kind of NAT software. I believe that there are some free ones out there.. but of course, you can always get a demo version and do the ethically questionable action of cracking it.

Also, I believe if you install Routing & Remote Access, you can install Network Address Translation. I've never done, so I cannot give you any tips on it. But, it is Win2k, so I can't be that tough.

Here are some other NAT alternatives to what Win2k offers:
www.freesco.org
www.winroute.com
www.winproxy.com
www.sygate.com

Good luck!

You have to use Proxy server to share Internet connection with multiple PCs.

Use DHCP server available to cut down TCP/IP maintenance.

I don't think your question for Win2000 as a router is the rite one. It is more like Win2000 for Gateway / Proxy 🙂
