Internet Reconnecting Frequently

I've been using the same router for about a year, and this has never happened before. My internet connection will just drop suddenly, and reconnect back in about 10-15 seconds. This would be fine, but when I'm trying to play any time of online game (teamfortress2) and I have to reconnect, everything is messed up.

Anyways, I havent installed any new firewalls, in fact I disabled them all to test it, and no difference there. It seems to happen every few minutes, sometimes it will be fine for up to half an hour, sometimes it will happen very quickly, but always will come back in no more than 20 seconds.

I've changed nothing, and have been using the same connection for at least a year.

Do routers just stop working after awhile? This is a linksys, dont know what version, but I think it was the cheapest.

Also, it is a wired connection.
