What internet radio sits out there do you guys prefer? I havent listened to much before, been trying out a few like Raidostorm.com. I noticed WMP had quite a few stations but mostly the quality sucked.

Echo.com was a great one. You could rate and customize what you play, and you could tell it to mostly play stuff you have rated, or some you have rated but lots of new stuff similar to what you like. but its not up anymore. a bunch of companies bought it and are doing nothing with it

www.vh1.com has a good radio. i listen to the alternative rock

www.launch.com is good. you can make your own and rate bands and albums and music. good quality

ive always been interested in an official internet radio station thread...of course i never searched so who knows if there is one.

Here is a link to a local station that broadcasts on the web. Go to their website to see playlists and the top 100 of the last few years as voted by the listeners.

WBER

Main things Ive been looking for is just a good alternative station and a good alternative station that pays some slightly older stuff like pearl jam and other mid 90s stuff.

Man if only launch was good quality... It has almost everything Im looking for but the quality is pretty poor IMO, worse then alot of the free services.

Accuradiohas been pretty cool for me.
the playlist isnt huge, ive started to hear repeats, but the high fidelity and modern rock classics are pretty good stuff most of the time.

Trying searching around Shoutcast.com, bound to be something you'll like.

They even have 320kbps streams from some colleges if you can handle it.

AOL once benchmarked the traffic from shoutcast, which they pay for.

80MB/s through their servers. That's MEGA-BYTES
