Internet Radio doesn't work anymore for Winamp 5.02?

I have Winamp 5.02 and now for some reason my Internet Radio doesn't work. It worked about 2 weeks ago but lately it hasn't been working at all. I'll double click a radio station in the Media Library and a popup window will say "Connecting to host, Reading HTTP response" and then nothing will happen. The popup closes immediately after I see "reading HTTP response" but nothing happens, no sound, no anything.

I've never had this problem before. I don't have a software firewall or antivirus yet (just reinstalled windows a while ago, radio was working after I reinstalled though). I do have a dsl modem/router but I never had to forward any ports for the radio to work before.

I listening to some net radio right now on 5.02, so I don't think it's a bug in Winamp. I assume you've tried multiple radio stations. Does it work with any other programs?

I've tried double clicking random radio stations on winamp and get nothing.

What do you mean by "does it work with any other programs"?

What is "it"?

I can listen to radio through Windows Media Player, but I prefer Winamp.

That's what I was asking. If it didn't work with WMP, I would have said it was a system problem. But since it runs that way, I don't know.

Edit: Hehe. I just ran a search of the Winamp forums looking for a solution and found a post by you. :p

Edit #2: Can you listen by using the link on the radio station's website? It might be a problem connecting to shoutcast.

hahahaha

thanks for the help though!

I do see to be having problem streaming video through Windows Media Player though, does that matter?
