Internet Problems

I seem to be having some trouble with my internet
- When I download something, it will just freeze at random places and just stop. I restart the download, and it will just freeze again during another part of the download.
- Some webpages that I go to, will come up with cannot connect to server problems, but it will load the site once I refresh.

These problems exist on all of Opera, Internet Explorer 7 and Firefox. I only have the problem on 1 of my 3 computers though (The one that is connected directly to internet.)

This is not a Malware problem as I have ran anti-virus/spyware checks numerous times and I havn't been affected with malware in over a year.

I have tried rebooting my router and my network connection numerous times. I have a D-Link DI-624 router, with onboad (P4C800) ethernet card. Also, I can never get through a youtube or google video video without it stoping, but I don't know if that is related.

Any help will be appreciated. Thanks alot.

So, how many devices are connected directly to your modem? The way it sounds, you have two devices (dlink router and 1 computer) which won't work with most ISP's. The two devices could be fighting for a single IP address and you connectivity is working when your problem computer gets to use the IP address. Just a thought.

On my modem i have the dlink router, and attached to that, i have one computer wired, and one mac laptop wirelessly and they each have a different IP (192.168.0.100 and 192.168.0.102). The problem didn't start happening until like 2 months ago
