I have comcast cable with my toshiba modem hooked up with usb. It works ok then but I want it hooked up the other way. I forget what it is called but it is a bigger wire that plugs in sort of like a phone wire. I plug the wire in and restart the computer it installs something and it claims it is working. Power light, cable, and pc lights are on and data light is flashing but it will not connect to the internet??

what could be my problem??
