Question Internet not Working on Phone

Hi, I got a new phone in December 2020. It's not registered to a phone number because I was just planning to use it as a internet/second phone. It's worked great since I got it, no problems whatsoever. Yesterday evening it suddenly decided to disconnect from the Wifi, and ever since it won't reconnect. It can see my Wifi service but when I try to connect it says "Obtaining IP Address" and loads forever. It's just a $50 Android tracphone, but I've never had problems connecting to the Wifi before. After restarting the phone several times with no results, I decided it was worth it to factory reset the phone. It still won't connect to my Wifi, I gave the password, but it still sits there obtaining the IP address with no connection. What do I do??
