I was wondering I was going to my grandma's house and I was wondering if theres anyway to get internet. My grandma lives in downtown San Francisco. But I am not sure any router would work that far. Any suggestion.(My grandma does not have internet or a computer.)( I am bringing a Laptop.)

If there's no existing connection at the house.

Your options are to:
1) Sign up for wireless internet through you cell phone provider.
2) Get a dial up account and plug into the wall.
3) Hope that grandma has some neighbors willing to let you use their wireless connections.
