Boy it is bad to get old.

I am thinking about building myself a new desktop computer but I can not remember the site that I have used in the past to purchase individual components for building a top notch box (it lists components by category). Googled a bit but have not been able to find it yet.

Can anyone remind me of the site I am looking for ?

Thanks.

Never mind, I found it, Pricewatch.

Pricewatch still exists?!

You're basically going to be using Amazon, Newegg or TD (bleh) for everything these days if you are in the US.

Just look at a few builds on this site. That will give you an idea about price. www.tomshardware.com does builds for gamers every Quarter and publishes the results.

You can find a lot of information on www.YouTube.com also. A lot just depends what you want to build.

There are like 100's of computer cases available. You can often find good pictures of the cases and motherboards and such on the web site: www.newegg.com.

Sometimes you can also purchase products at different places like www.amazon.com

Good Luck.

the thing I like about Pricewatch is it tracks vendors that sell older components so If I have someone that needs a 754 socket replacement mobo or an AGP video card its a great resource.
