Hi Im not sure what the problem is with my internet(comcast) freezes up in all games for me and random times its weird cause I can still hear the voice of real people talking but the game itself still freezes. Ive replaced the modem with a new modem and it still happens it seems to only happen for the upstairs computers cause it never happens downstairs that I can tell(PC downstairs sucks so it lags no matter what, but doesn't seem to freeze like this) I will be uploading videos to Youtube later to show you guys what happens(there no sound) but you can still see.Video of me freezing

-Thanks

what makes you think its a problem with the internet connection as opposed to the local computer? do you have a router connected to the modem? have you tried plugging the computer directly into the modem to eliminate any other issues?

If the game "video" freezes but you can still hear voice chat then it's not a problem with your Internet connection since that voice chat is being transmitted over the Internet connection. It's more likely an issue with your computer itself - possibly a virus, device driver problem, or overheating.

Ive reformated my PC multiple times so its no viruses and it happens to friends PC as well but only uo stairs which leads me to think the ethernet cord is bad maybe.. Ive tried just using the modem and still does it. I also brought my PC over to one of my friends house and tested it and it don't freeze so its not my PC. My ethernet cord is about 50 to 75 feet long so it shouldn't lag because its too long

What kind of cable? Home made? That's too long for a patch cable as the maximum is 10 meters.

Lose the homemade cable. Or at the very least punch the ends down into keystone jacks and then use storebought patch cables on each end into the jacks. Homemade cables are one of the biggest cause of network problems, if not the biggest.
